Break the silence

We made songs to break the stigma of mental illness because with 1 in 5 Americans suffering, it’s not just strangers, or people on the news. It’s our friends. Yet, the stigma is so great many suffer in silence. If we all share the message, #IWillListen, it will be easier for them to ask for help.

BEHIND THE SCENES

See why the artists stepped up to spread the message.

Music is a language we all have in common. It can convey what words alone cannot, help us feel what others feel, and know that others feel the same way we do. Music lets us share things that are hard to talk about. And few things are as hard to talk about as mental illness. With 1 in 5 people affected every year, these aren’t just strangers or people on the news. They’re the people we love. If we let them know we’re here for them, they’ll be more comfortable asking for help. These songs help make that conversation easier. Share them with your friends, along with three simple words that can make a difference: #IWILLLISTEN.
